The recent Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Summit of the Southeast took place in Nashville—the hometown of Medalogix. Convention days were filled with speakers, workshops, networking and roundtables. Because of my commitment to healthcare data analytics, at one of these roundtables I was placed as a mentor panelist to ExtraHop.
"ExtraHop is a force multiplier for healthcare IT teams struggling with increasing complexity. With the ExtraHop platform, healthcare organizations can regain control over the performance of their applications and infrastructure, and capitalize on their Big Data opportunity. The ExtraHop Healthcare Edition combines market-leading application performance, availability, and security monitoring with new HL7 analytics capabilities."
I'm excited that groups like HIMSS and ExtraHop are pioneers in transforming healthcare analytics through revolutionary information technology. It was particularly special to have this conference in town this year since just a couple of years ago HIMSS honored me with the Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) Acceleration Award. I'm humbled and energized to continue learning from, and now mentoring, some of these great thinkers.
This was a packed week of healthcare conferences in Nashville. Along with HIMSS, we also spoke at the National Association of Healthcare and Hospice (NAHC) conference, where our Cyndi presented on the importance of maximizing home health and hospice technology to improve quality and reduce healthcare cost. Good things are happening!
