Attend Our Session At The National Association of Home Care and Hospice's Annual Conference

Posted by Danielle on August 13, 2015

Every year home health and hospice professionals gather at the National Association for Home Care and Hospice's (NAHC) annual conference. For the past two years we've had the honor of speaking and we're thrilled to be included in this year's agenda as well. Here's what our own Cyndi Rizzitello and Jordan Health Services' Justine Garcia will be presenting to the audience October 28th in our home city of Nashville, Tennessee.

103-How to Maximize Technology to Improve Quality and Reduce Cost

justine_garcia_cyndi_rizzitello_nahcTechnology is increasingly needed in health care as we all strive to avoid reimbursement penalties. Unfortunately, we’re struggling to find easy success with the new technologies, and less than half of us are satisfied. Luckily, we can learn from those who have had success, like Justine Garcia from Jordan Health Services, who invested in technology, Medalogix Bridge, that analyzes Jordan's EMR data to identify high-risk patients. This program will review the 10 best practices for technology integration in home care and hospice through a real-life case example.

Objectives:

  • Describe the current status of technology in health care
  • Discuss Jordan Health Systems’ success in using technology
  • Explain 10 best practices for technology integration
